Made in Yorkshire member Brewology has designed and produced products that could help businesses diversify into new markets. As an automation and design company, they are also open to helping firms automate segments of their business.

Brewology is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of brewery automation equipment, specialising in cask and keg cleaning and racking, CIP sets, tanks, spares and service contracts, plus state of the art remote automation.

Based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, the highly-skilled team of engineers offers in-house design, manufacture, and software development, as well as a complete after-sale service.

For the last 12-18 months, the firm has been designing and developing an SPF Small Pack Filler that is able to put liquid into cans and seal them. This new machine allows users to fill 1500 cans an hour. The compact, cost-efficient machine can also put liquid into bottles, allowing brewers to fill cans and bottles in the house and avoid subcontracting work.

For manufacturers outside of Brewery, the device can help them to diversify into new markets and also put liquids into a recyclable host.

The manufacturing firm has also produced a Compact Keg Washer Filler (CKWF). The competitively priced CKWF allows Brewers of all sizes to combine the service together and to use steam to sanitize the kegs inside.

However the CKWF can also be used to wash and sanitize Casks or other containers, with many businesses reluctant to accept goods due to cross-contamination, the machine may prove useful to other manufacturers in the future. Dominic Smith, Managing Director at Brewology, said:

“As an automation and design company, if you have an idea that includes automation we are open to helping firms develop automation equipment to aid production.”

Brewology is still open and supporting new and existing customers. To ensure staff safety in the workplace, the firm has implemented social distancing measures and is making sure to follow guidelines from the Government.
